"A5" is the "The Highest Grade of Beef in the World"

Ever since ending TOP OF THE MARK Thursdays back in 2005, friends & supporters of his events have been asking Donovan to open his own upscale venue.  Several nightclub, lounge and restaurant projects have been presented to Donovan through the years, but 5A5 was the very first that met his extremely high-standards, and with the right business partners, San Francisco nightlife leaders A-List & Tony Kutulas.

Located at the infamous old "Frisson" restaurant in the Financial District (244 Jackson St). Frisson was one of the most expensive 5-star restaurants ever built in San Francisco and it's modern chic design was a Donovan community favorite amongst the young & hip for dinner and cocktails.

5A5 Steak Lounge is a new restaurant concept that is extremely hot in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas right now. 5A5 follows suit with the hottest restaurants "STK" in New York & Los Angeles and Woflgang Puck's "CUT" in Beverly Hills & Las Vegas.  The "see & be seen" chic steak lounge, which is "Not Your Daddy's Steakhouse" is all the rave right now.  And 5A5 plans to add it's own San Francisco cultural & sophisticated flavor to this sexy venue concept by adding a live entertainment lounge twist and being a nice addition to other swanky upscale lounges in the city such as San Francisco's "THE REDWOOD ROOM. .
