ABOUT ADAM LARIOS
Born in Los Angeles, raised in Marin County, Adam Larios is a "next generation dj" focused on bridging the musical gap between traditional "mash up" / Top 40 and house music incorporating hip hop influenced scratching & turntablism into his live performances.  Larios is the "silver bullet" to appealing to the younger partygoer entering the club scene from a commercial radio / Top 40 foundation and "educating" them on a fresher, edgier side of dance music where today's popular hits by Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, and Black Eyed Peas are remixed with house beats.  Larios' arsenal of dancefloor frenzy weapons include "extremely rare" dance remixes of the most famous 80's songs of all time (such as The Police, Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna, and U2) and dance remixes of the most famous, timeless classic rock songs by bands such as ACDC, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz, and Guns N' Roses.  Although inspired by the showmanship of the late DJ AM, unlike the traditional "mash up" DJ, Larios' musical foundation is in traditional house music inspired by commercial-friendly house artists such as Kaskade, David Guetta, and Bob Sinclar. 

In a day & age where Serato rules and every kid is calling themself a professional DJ, when they learned how to put 2 records together in 5 minutes looking at a computer screen without needing headphones, Adam honed his beat-matching & turntablism skills like an "old-school" DJ, the traditional way, with true vinyl and no computer to cheat.  With a "true" turntablist foundation, Adam is now leveraging modern technology that Serato offers and pushing the creative musical boundaries of scratching, looping, and remixing dance music live that can only be done digitally.

 In 2010, Larios was "discovered" by DJ Donovan, who saw his technical talent and his enormous mass appeal and immediately took him under his wing to build his name & brand in the nightlife market.  Larios has performed regularly at the W Hotel San Francisco, Slide, Vessel Nightclub and has just recently performed at San Francisco's Union Street Fair & North Beach Festival and flow down to Hollywood to DJ the MTV MOVIE AWARDS AFTERPARTY.  Larios also regularly performs at DonovanSF events, the hottest #1 parties in San Francisco for the past decade, as Donovan's starring Top 40/ Mash Up DJ.
